LIGHT PROGRAMME

The LIGHT Programme is a structured light exposure experience designed to support circadian rhythm regulation, nervous system balance, and overall biological coherence.

Modern environments often involve limited natural daylight exposure and high levels of artificial indoor lighting. Over time, this can influence sleep patterns, energy regulation, mood, and general physiological balance.

This programme focuses on intentional exposure to specific light wavelengths within a controlled, calm setting

How it starts

All new clients begin with an Initial Wellbeing Consultation.

This is a 30-minute online video consultation designed to understand your symptoms, health history, lifestyle patterns, and current needs.

From here, you will receive clear guidance on whether the LIGHT Programme is the most appropriate pathway for your system.

The consultation fee is fully deducted from the cost of your programme should you choose to continue.

Principles behind the work

This programme draws on principles from:

  • circadian biology
  • light exposure research
  • environmental health science
  • emerging understanding of light as a biological signal

Red and UV light are increasingly studied for their role in supporting cellular energy production and vitamin D synthesis (UVB exposure in controlled environments).

The equipment

This work uses professional-grade light systems, including:

  • red light wavelengths
  • controlled UVA / UVB exposure

Sessions are intentionally short (typically 5–8 minutes of active exposure) due to the intensity and specificity of the devices used.

Light is applied directly to areas of skin as part of the process, as this is required for effective delivery of the wavelengths used.

How a session works

Each session includes:

  • brief check-in and context
  • structured light exposure (5–8 minutes)
  • short integration period afterwards

The focus is not duration, it is precision, consistency, and biological response over time.

How the programme works

The LIGHT Programme is delivered as a structured series of 5 sessions.

The work is cumulative, meaning each session builds on the previous one through rhythm and repetition.

Sessions are typically spaced weekly or bi-weekly depending on individual scheduling and response.

Who this is for

This work is often explored by individuals who feel:

  • out of sync with natural energy or sleep rhythms
  • affected by indoor, screen-heavy environments
  • generally depleted, overstimulated, or dysregulated

Responses vary from person to person depending on baseline physiology and lifestyle.
